Beyond STEM is an Edtech organization that enable kids Aged 6-17 learn the 21st century development by equiping them with the necessary tech skills to thrive in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

At Beyond STEM, we believe that every child has the potential to innovate, create, and lead in today’s technology-driven world.

We envision a world where African kids are not consumers of technology but creators of tech solution that can help shape the future.

Our Story

Beyond STEM began with a simple but urgent concern.

In 2020, I looked at the reality around me. Children were growing up in a world shaped by technology, yet most schools in Africa were still teaching with outdated methods and outdated content. Students memorized theory but lacked practical skills. Teachers were not trained to deliver 21st-century learning. The gap between what young people were learning and what the future demands kept widening. I refused to accept that reality.

I started by teaching a small group of children how to code and build digital projects. Their results confirmed what I already believed. When children are exposed early and guided properly, they learn faster than we expect. They become more confident, more creative, and more capable.

That experience led to the birth of Beyond STEM.
